Are you saying Kundera died?!

Are you saying Kundera died?!

Milan Kundera, a writer I love very much, passed away today!
I read it on beautiful summer days but also on empty days. His deep humor with a charming pessimism; Kundera's ability to get into the reader's mind and stomach, and talent for understanding human behavior was his life.
There is much that can be said about Kundera, but in my personal experience as his reader, or his student, I have fixed in my memory the lesson for myself. Because our self is what we have in hand (to some extent). Self is the problem and the solution. Cause and effect!

- When Milan Kundera experienced international success with his masterpiece 'The unbearable lightness of being' (I suggest it to everyone) he withdrew from public life, interviews, photos - which only Vera, his wife, had the right to do his.

"I had an overdose of myself - he told a friend" And for 37 years he let fame walk with his books.

This story of Milan Kundera has stuck in my mind, and I wanted to share it with you today. Especially at a time when we all live in overdoses of ourselves and others and not because of masterpieces. At the time when we don't even understand ourselves and less and less the other...

We all die, but as Kundera says in Immortality, "Being mortal is the most basic human experience, and yet people have never known how to accept it, digest it and therefore deal with it properly.
Man simply does not know how to behave like a mortal. Even when he dies, he doesn't act like he's dead."

Maybe he is doing this today too.

While we, thanks to this great writer, can understand ourselves and others a little more as long as we are alive

Ps Milan Kundera, it is translated into Albanian by Mirela Kumbaro, Saverina Pasho, and Mira Meksi
