The movement of Albanian citizens from Albania to the USA and vice versa is facilitated. The Foreign Ministry announces that in agreement with the State Department, now Albanian citizens can travel to the USA even if their passport expires in the last 6 months before the trip.
At the same time, Albanian citizens returning from the USA to Albania can travel even if their passport has expired.
The decision was agreed today during the meeting that the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs had in Tirana with high representatives of the State Department. This decision puts Albania in the so-called "6-month Club Group".
