Lukashenko: Tens of thousands of NATO soldiers are stationed near our borders! Concerns about the start of World War III are legitimate
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has declared today that concerns about the start of World War III are legitimate, saying that tens of thousands of NATO troops have been stationed near the borders of Russia and Belarus
"Military force has once again become the main argument presented by global decision-making centers, as if there had never been the millions of lives lost from the First and Second World Wars," he said.
"Now we are literally engulfed by a premonition of a Third World War, which has gripped everyone. There are legitimate reasons for such concerns. There are about 32,000 military personnel from the unified contingents of NATO and the US armed forces stationed near Belarus and Russia as part of the alliance's operations in Europe," he said.
