The decrees of dismissal and appointment of new ministers were approved today in the Assembly during a special plenary session.
The proposal of the new ministers was made a few days ago by Prime Minister Edi Rama, while after the approval in the Assembly, the new ministers will be sworn in by the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj.
Ministers who are expected to take office and those who are leaving:
Minister of Health and Social Welfare - Albana Koçiu is appointed; Ogerta Manastirliu leaves
Minister of Education and Sports - Ogerta Manastirliu is appointed; Evis Khushi leaves
Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs - Igli Hasani is appointed; Olta Xhaçka leaves
Minister of Agriculture and Development - Anila Denaj is appointed; Frida Krifca leaves
Minister of State for Local Government - Appointed Arbjan Mazniku
Minister of State for Standards and Services (Dissolved) – Milva Ekonomi leaves.
