ODIHR entrusts Ditmir Bushati with the monitoring of early elections in

The former Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, will lead the ODIHR mission for the early parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. The mission will assess the conduct of the elections in accordance with OSCE commitments and other international obligations and standards for democratic elections, as well as with national legislation.

Bushati was hosted by the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov in a meeting with whom they discussed the importance of this election process for the country.

Early elections in Azerbaijan will be held on September 1.
