In the World Happiness Report, published by the UN, Albania has lost one position compared to last year, ranking 91st out of 146 countries in total.

Among European countries, Albania leaves behind North Macedonia (92), Turkey (102) and Georgia (106).

Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro improved in the Happiness Index by 4 positions, ranking 63rd and 71st respectively.

Serbia ranks 47th, up from 43rd a year ago.

For the sixth year in a row, Finland is the happiest country in the world, as ranked by the World Happiness Report, based mainly on life assessments from the Gallup World Poll.
