Sali Berisha lost the trial in London. It will continue to be unwanted on English soil.
This is what the Special Commission decided in London, where he appealed the non-grata declaration.
Berisha has lost the battle he had undertaken with the Ministry of the Interior in Great Britain, as his appeal has not been accepted by the Immigration Appeals Commission.
"Home Office" declared Berisha "non-grata" on July 19, 2022.
He is accused of being involved in corruption, having connections to the underworld and being willing to use those connections.
"We find it inappropriate to apply the formula of immunity as a former head of state applied in this appeal. For this reason and others addressed in the closed session, Mr. Berisha's objection to ban his entry to Great Britain is overruled", the decision reads.
