The average for the branches of teaching decreases
The average for graduates who want to continue teaching is reduced from 7.5 to 6.5. The news was given by the Minister of Education, Evis Kushi, after the government meeting.
"Today, all graduates who want to continue as teachers must have a minimum average of 7.5. Concerns from universities are related that not all graduates who enroll want to become teachers. Graduates who want to pursue another profession can also enter these programs. Not everyone who goes to a foreign language wants to become a teacher, there may be those who want to do translation or another profession, the same goes for those who study literary languages.
We also give the opportunity to graduates who finish their studies with 6.5, but will have a standard number in the registration number. "It is a change that we have agreed with the universities themselves and we expect that next year, the number of registrations will be higher", said Kushi.
