Fire in the old people's home in Fier, some of them end up in the hospital

A fire engulfed the old people's home in Fier this afternoon.
As a result, some of the elderly were urgently transported to the hospital.
"Around 3:30 p.m., a fire broke out in the Fier old people's home, on the second floor. Police and fire services are on the scene and are working to extinguish the fire. All the elderly have been evacuated and some of them have been taken to the hospital for medical assistance as they did not feel well due to the smoke. The investigative group is working to find out the cause of the fire," the police explained.
