The European currency is gaining stability against the Lek. After the deep decline of the last few months, the euro has been stabilized for several days, reaching again the level of 104.4 ALL.
This increase came after the intervention of the Bank of Albania, which has increased the level of purchase of the European currency for the effect of the reserve.
According to market agents, the stabilization of the exchange rate started after the governor's statement that they will increase the purchase of the amount of euros in the market.
But despite this stabilization, the estimates of the Bank of Albania show that the euro will continue to be weak against the lek throughout the month of August as the inflows are large.
