"Here we are on the trail of Thumanë-Kashari of the concessionary part, the first part where work is being done for the Blue Corridor and the works have progressed very well. As you can see, the site is fully engaged and it is about 40% of the works that have already been delivered. The track of the road is about 21 km, while the parallel roads that are built, as we have said from the beginning, we build parallel roads to give the citizens the opportunity to choose the expressway where the speed reaches up to 140 kilometers per hour , but of course it is tolled or the parallel roads that will be of the category of highways that will be free of charge. So, the entire Blue Corridor is accompanied by parallel roads to give citizens an alternative choice. The parallel road is 16 km. Here we have a highway, which fulfills all the conditions and parameters that we already build these highways, is 2 x 2 lanes plus 2 emergency lanes. Normal lanes are 3.75 meters each. Only this project, that is, the project of Thumana - Kashari, will have 11 bridges, 12 underpasses and of course there are also 2 parts of the connection of the underpasses with dislevel. The most important process for us is the Rinas connection, which will be coordinated with the Tirana bypass," said Balluku.
