The anti-crisis package was presented today at a press conference. The package is medium-term support, meaning that it is not a temporary aid package, but an increase in pensions, economic assistance and wages.

"The package is conceived as a medium-term, non-temporary support extending over one or two, three months. This means that we considered the fact that the crisis is of an unpredictable nature for its end", said Rama.

What does the package include?

For pensions

Pensions are indexed once a year, in April. They will be re-indexed for the first time. It will be calculated with the inflation rate, which is 9.5%. This also applies to persons with disabilities, with 7.5%.

We will increase the economic assistance by 10%, while the economic assistance for women heads of families with two children will be doubled.

The salary increase program for priority sectors continues. Salaries for the administration, which have not been touched for a long time, will increase. Salaries for the state police and prison police will increase.

The minimum wage will increase from 32 thousand to 34 thousand ALL.

Support for fishing.

Support for not touching the transport ticket.

Not increasing the price of electricity for households and small businesses.

Every kilowatt above 800 will be paid at the market price. This decision aims to create pressure to reduce electricity consumption.
