Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the meeting with Italian Albanians in Milan, said that there are 421 thousand Albanians who will benefit from the agreement with Italy on pensions.
"You are nearly 700,000 inhabitants, with regular residence permits. You are citizens and have the right to vote in the democratic decision-making of this country. There are over 40,000 Albanian enterprises that contribute taxes. Albanian students are 10% of all foreign students from countries outside the EU, and among all foreign communities, the Albanian one ranks with the best results. There are 421,000 of you who will benefit from the newly concluded agreement on pensions with Italy, where thanks to the personal commitment of your prime minister here in Italy, a steadfast friend of Albania, who is also a strong spokesperson for us in the EU, Georgia Meloni , we managed to finally place a precious and missing stone in that crown of justice that you have deserved for this second homeland of yours", said Rama
