In a meeting with businesses, on the eve of the start of the tourist season, Rama addressed entrepreneurs to increase wages for Albanian employees. The Prime Minister makes a comparison with the salaries of the employees who are taken from Bali and the Philippines and who are paid up to 1,000 euros.
"The Albanian entrepreneur must understand that he cannot give the woman who cleans there in Himara and Dhërmi 300 thousand Lek because she is from the country and then they take from Bali and the Philippines and give you 1000 Euro each. It can't work like that. We must value the Albanian employee as the eyes of the forehead. Help him at any cost because he is the one who does it. Take away those women who are there at those counters there and who open and close the doors of the shops, and this man's business no longer works and he lives off the billions", said Rama.
