Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that from tomorrow, meetings with entrepreneurs will begin for the increase in the private sector of salaries.

Rama said that it has already been decided that from April the minimum wage will be 40 thousand new lek, while he announced that other wages will also increase, as a form of support for the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.

"We are starting meetings with the enterprise about the necessity of further salary increases in the private sector, where from April the mandatory minimum is ALL 40,000. While the government is getting ready to correct the entire wage scheme after the significant increase in the minimum wage, as a reaction to the unforeseen difficulties created everywhere by Putin's aggression and war inflation," writes Rama, who also posted some notes highlighting the fact that Albania already ranks third in the Western Balkans region with this level of minimum wage.
