Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the meeting with the tourist operators in the city of Peshkopia, spoke about the slow pace at which the works for the Arbri Street have progressed.

Although it was inaugurated a year ago, without the Murriz tunnel, Rama explained that it was precisely the difficulties due to the geological terrain that caused the work to get stuck in this tunnel and the Arbri Road, which has shortened the distance to Tirana for the people of Dibran, was not fully delivered.

Rama explains in Dibër why the Murrizi tunnel on Rruga e Arbri has not been

"The Murrizi tunnel has developed a problem due to geological reasons, that's why the company moves at the pace of a turtle, 1 meter a day. With the next year's budget, the connection with Maqellara is also planned, which brings the car along Arbri Street to the center of Peshkopia. We are walking along the road of Lura and the connecting axis of Bulqiza with Librazhdi, but we have a problem of expropriations that takes time but also money, and with the funds we are not in the best of days because the protection of electricity is eating up a lot".
