Biden Says His Uncle May Have Been Eaten By 'Cannibals'

Joe Biden has revealed in a press release that his pilot uncle may have fallen prey to "cannibals" in Papua New Guinea after he was shot down during the Second World War.

But the official account of the 1944 incident from military records makes no mention of the plane's downing or possible cannibalism.

Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape dismissed the president's comments.
