Contrary to what America saw from the Republicans last election (the lesson on Capitol Hill) for not accepting the results, the Democrats, the losers of this election, showed dignity.
Kamala Harris appeared before her supporters and the American people last night and said:
"We must accept the result of these elections. Today I spoke with President-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we will help him and his team with the transition of the White House movement. And that we will make a peaceful transition. A core tenet of America's democracy is that when we lose an election, we accept the result. This distinguishes democracy from monarchy or tyranny (dictatorship)," said Kamala Harris.
