The Eiffel Tower is evacuated a few hours before the Olympic final, because a

French authorities evacuated the Eiffel Tower after a half-naked man climbed hours before the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.

He was spotted directly above the Olympic rings.


The Eiffel Tower is not expected to be used for the closing ceremony, which will take place at the Stade de France and start at around 9pm today.

30,000 police officers are in Paris today to monitor the closure of the Olympic Games.
