Ivanka Trump: Normally I knew my father's claims about the stolen election were nonsense
Donald Trump's favorite daughter, Ivanka, in the registered session of the commission on January 6, "betrayed" her father. In a video Ivanka reportedly tells the commission that she knew her father's allegations about the stolen election were nonsense.
The New York Times writes that Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, who was Trump's adviser, had concluded that Trump lost the election even before he was officially announced for Joe Biden and had decided to "wash their hands" of the 45th President.
Why did they not tell anyone about it? According to the Times, Ivanka did not want to "embarrass" her father.
