Protests erupt in Valencia. Cause of mismanagement of the flood situation
Hundreds of thousands of people have taken to the main square in Valencia to protest against the governor.

At least 220 people lost their lives in this natural disaster in the southeast of Spain.
At 18:00 yesterday, from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where the municipality is located, there was a banner with an upside down image of the governor of Valencia.
The march first took place in silence, to commemorate the victims of the flood, then slogans were raised against Mazon, but also against the central government, which "Could have done much more", according to the protesters.
There were also some moments of tension when fireworks were thrown towards the municipal office.
During the march, demonstrators chanted "Murderers!"
Hundreds of people also gathered in Madrid. They chanted "Mazón quit".
According to the latest official data, the confirmed deaths are 220, of which 27 are still unidentified and 50 people are missing.
