A week full of emotion and creativity is expected to unfold in the Albanian capital, where the "OneMinuteMonologue-Balkan Focus" event will start from Sunday, November 10, in the city of Tirana, which is recently becoming an epicenter for the world of the movie. Organized by the Creative Industry Agency of the Municipality of Tirana, FILMMAKERS EUROPE and the well-known world-famous company Spotlight will gather 37 international actors and 6 famous casting directors, offering a unique opportunity to recognize and develop talents from the Balkans.
This first edition will be dedicated to an intensive training which will be led by well-known names in the film industry who today collaborate with important platforms such as Netflix, HBO, Warner Bros., such as Ellen Sofie Michelsen, Lana Veenker, Marina Wijn , Maurilio Mangano, Sofia Dimopoulou and Timka Grin. Participants will benefit from a three-day training, which will help them improve their skills in self-taping techniques, auditions and strategies to increase visibility in the international arena.
This event is not only an opportunity for actors to develop their careers, but also a chance to show the potential of film art in the region. With the organizers' commitment to attract the attention of industry professionals, "OneMinuteMonologue-Balkan Focus" aims to show that the Balkans is full of outstanding talents that deserve to be recognized and given a platform to showcase.
