The drama "Blood of the Martyrs of the Nation" will be staged again at the Tirana Lake Amphitheater on May 20, at 8:00 p.m.

This activity is organized by the National Youth Congress as part of the Program "Youth Develops Culture", within the framework of "Tirana European Youth Capital 2022", financed by the Municipality of Tirana and is expected to gather over 1000 people.

The theme of the drama is based on true real events, at the time of the persecution of the clergy and believers.

The performance of the drama makes young men and women aware of the historical truths of a painful and dark time of the Albanian people, as a lesson to move forward only for the development and integration of the country. The drama commemorates and honors the martyrs of the nation, especially the martyrs of the Catholic clergy, who were tortured, imprisoned and unjustly killed during the dictatorship period.

The drama "Blood of Martyrs of the Nation" adapted by Bajram Torba is based on the novel of the same title by the writer Zana Tako. All this is conveyed with great devotion by the priest Lazer, who is at the center of the events, where he is surrounded by a series of characters, who complete the events with a rare determination.
