Lajçak after the meeting with Kurt: Everything agreed in the dialogue

The special envoy of the European Union for Kosovo-Serbia talks, Miroslav Lajçak, who visited Kosovo today, has stated that all the agreements signed in Brussels must be implemented, including the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.

"We have discussed this issue and I have informed the prime minister about our position, but I do not want to make public legal analyses. I think it was helpful that we had this discussion. Again, what I must repeat is that everything that was agreed in the dialogue must be implemented", said Lajcak after the meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti in Pristina, from where he left for Belgrade as part of the efforts to resume talks on the normalization of relations between both parties.

While the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, wrote on social networks after the meeting with Mr. Lajçak that Kosovo accepts the proposal of the European Union for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia and considers it a good basis for further discussions and a solid platform for moving forward.

"Some questions on international guarantees, enforcement mechanisms and timelines will soon be addressed during the upcoming talks in Brussels. Democratic concepts of European orientation give us hope", wrote Prime Minister Kurti.

Even Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has recently declared that he will accept the proposal, warning of the consequences that Serbia may have if it rejects it.
