10 earthquakes have rocked the Canary Islands in the last 24 hours.
Although small in magnitude, the earthquakes caused minimal damage in some areas, while people fear that a stronger tremor could follow.
The strongest tremor that was recorded was 3.6 Richter.
The Canary Islands are located between the tectonic plates of Africa, Eurasia and America and are therefore always exposed to seismic activity.
