Cyclone in southern Brazil causes 21 deaths
A cyclone has hit southern Brazil in the last few hours, causing 21 victims.
The news was confirmed by the governor of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. He said that this is the most tragic balance that has ever happened in the country from a climate phenomenon.
"Unfortunately, I was informed that 15 bodies were found in the Musum community, which brings the death toll to 21," Governor Eduardo Leyte said in a press conference.
No further than in June, another cyclone caused 16 victims in the same place.
Rio Grande do Sul borders Uruguay and Argentina.
