On Sunday, a group of robbers broke into the home of the Italian Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, in a residential area north of Rome. Italian authorities are already investigating the attempted theft.
Italian media reports that they were able to go to the safe, but they could not open it. However, the robbers may have taken other valuables that were in the boat.
It was the neighbors of the Italian deputy prime minister who notified the police because of the noises they heard at home. When the police officers entered, the thieves had left.
