Poland bans entry to Lavrov. Moscow calls it a provocation

Poland has decided to detain Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the territory.

Lavrov was to go to Poland to attend an OSCE ministerial meeting.

Moscow is already creating another list of participants, but has reacted to the location of Poland, calling it a provocation.

"Poland's decision to deny Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov entry to its territory to prevent him from attending the OSCE ministerial meeting in Lodz is unprecedented and provocative. In this way, not only has Warsaw discredited itself, but it has caused irreparable damage to the entire Organization," Moscow's statement reads.

Lavrov is Putin's right-hand man and has been sanctioned in various countries as well as Putin, after the start of the war in Ukraine.
