Big Brother versus X Factor and what it says about us as a society!
They are not broadcast on the same day. Big Brother has two primes a week on Tuesday and Saturday, and X Factor every Friday. However, the buzz of Big Brother is much bigger, and so is the audience. It is enough to see the attention that the portals give to each program, the followers on Instagram or even to listen to the tables around the cafe.
Don't tell us now that you don't listen to others, because watching Big Brother is exactly that. Following a group of people hanging out, eating, drinking, smoking, bathing, sleeping, kissing and most of all fighting. They fight about cigarettes, they fight about "why did you see me" and even about panties. As the main debate of the last few days between two actors in Big. Some say this debate is fake.
And while we follow this scene, maybe even distractedly, we miss the real scene. That of the X Factor, which returned after a 7-year absence.
Young men and women full of talent and dreams, climb the stage every week. There are shows, there is art, but there are also stories and touching moments. There are young people like Kev, creator, singer, superstar who lost his father 6 months ago, but left his problems at home. It's Anisa, maybe a future Aurela Gaçe. But no. Neither is enough to crack BBVip's keyhole audience first. Where in fact not everyone is a VIP.
The real vips are on the X Factor stage. There could be a Rita Ora, a Dua Lipa, a Bebe Rexha, one of these who make us proud and then when they go out they post pictures with their hands like an eagle. And in fact, we will not recognize them even though we have had them so close. We were busy consuming time and not investing it.
That in the end, in the best case, no one will remember the BBVip debates, but Elhaida Danin from The Voice of Italy or Arilena Ara from X Factor, today in the jury!
