Fatlinda Tahiri: Shows her mother's fight with cancer in 2006 and at the end an irony for Ilir Beqaj
The wife of Saimir Tahir, lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the outbreak of the QSUT scandal, told the story of her mother and the confrontation with the hospital doors in 2006. At the end of the story, she closes with an irony towards Ilir Beqaj, to the former Socialist Minister of Health, where he uses the expression that was discovered in a wiretapping of him when he held the office as minister.
By Fatlinda Tahiri/ It was the year 2006. At that time, 51 years old, my mother was diagnosed with melanoma (skin cancer) caught in grade 2-3, in the language of doctors, not too late. We gathered forces as a family to do our best. We contacted the doctor who diagnosed him at the Oncology Hospital, and who is still on duty.
The shock was great, the rush to solve it even greater. Our mind worked only to gain time, to save it.
The doctor did not hesitate and immediately took us to her private clinic. A small kennel, which cannot be called a clinic. There we performed the first operation and we had to operate again, so the second operation was also performed, in the same small and miserable place. Those who know, understand that neither biopsies nor anything were done here, but they left and the answer came very late, wasting valuable time.
Neyse, the doctor after the surgery, came personally to receive the money, immediately... without wasting a single second. Her arrogance and behavior actually seemed like the least of our problems. We justified ourselves, at least my life is being saved, I used to think, the money that he almost took out of our pocket, seemed like nothing to us.
He also described a medicine, for which he told us from the first moment that it was not available here.
Of course we found the medication and started the treatment. After a while the situation worsened and we headed out. As soon as the doctor saw the data and analysis, he told us that it was too late, and that there was nothing more we could do. I insisted that we had gone on time, but he was only surprised by what he heard from me.
There we realized that everything could have been prevented. The intervention was done badly, wrongly. Even the treatment afterwards was wrong. Everything was done wrong. And to think that we paid, not a little... but we lost her life, 15 years ago today. Who would not pay for health? Or to save the life of the parent, the child, yourself? We would all pay, but today, 15 years later, we are paying these contract killers, because we know their faces and know their craft.
I could no longer save my life, and why did I submit to the criminal "rules" of what the doctor was, and that we are all collectively submitted to, like sheep before the butcher, with a shaved head and an elongated neck waiting for the knife in the next mouth .
I couldn't even save the life of someone else very important in my family, because again I listened to the doctor who, even though he knew that he was suffering from a serious illness, told me to treat him with paracetamol, wasting time that would have been useful for death.
Do not continue with the misdiagnoses, the lack of professionalism and ethics, the scandalous treatment "with a friend", because I have a very long list, unfortunately for me...
Until then, hug your parents, children and everyone you love in this world, with the hope that you won't end up in the hospital. It happened to you, SUCCESS IN LIFE!
