Tomorrow will start the holy month of Ramadan, where Muslim believers will fast for a whole month. Today, the head of the Albanian Muslim Community, Bujar Spahiu, congratulated the Albanians through a video message.
"Thanks to Allah for enabling us to reach the month of Ramadan. The blessed month of Ramadan is an opportunity that God has given us to purify the soul and body. Ramadan is not a month of diet, but a month of worship through which man has the golden opportunity to achieve God's pleasure and through this achievement to prosper himself with goodness in this world and in the hereafter. Ramadan is spiritual purification in the first place. Fasting aims to form a complete personality of the believer. Ramadan is the month of solidarity between people, it is the month of giving alms, it is the month of devotion to the family, of caring for parents. Everyone has the opportunity to recover the broken connections with the close people in this month. In this prosperous month, every deed is rewarded many times by Allah. So important is this reward that the sincere fasting person has a special gate to enter it. We ask God to enable us to be forgiven at the end of this month, to grant us peace and prosperity, so that peace is achieved first between the parties in Gaza, Ukraine and in every country where there are conflicts and people find peace well-deserved and have a prosperous Ramadan", says Spahia
