Rama for the mandate of Olta Xhaçka: the Constitutional Court cannot order how deputies vote
Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke in Real Story about the mandate of the former minister and deputy Olta Xhaçka, where he said that the Constitutional Court sent an unenforceable decision to the parliament.
According to the head of government, deputies cannot be ordered how to vote and added that this has nothing to do with the justice reform.
Edi Rama: Once again to be very clear that it is very important. These things have nothing to do with each other. The case of the decision to vote in parliament by the majority has nothing to do with Olta Xhačka. Why not applicable? For a very simple reason. The Constitutional Court can overturn the laws made by the parliament for non-compliance with the Constitution. The Constitutional Court cannot order how deputies vote, it is impossible. It is theoretically and technically impossible. Because the vote of every deputy is sovereign
