Vjosa will return to National Park, Rama: Di Caprio did not come alive for what

Prime Minister Edi Rama, while talking about the memorandum that will turn Vjosa into a National Park, also threw an irony at the famous actor, Leonardo di Caprio, saying that he did not come alive to support the initiative taken by the government.

"I was marked here for Leonardo di Caprion, but I am not saying that because he became alive to hit the government and did not become alive to support us," Rama said.

Di Caprio has previously reacted to the protection of the Vjosa River from the construction of HPPs. The actor has even criticized the government several times. Di Caprio has previously written that the Vjosa is the last untouched river in Europe and as such deserves to be protected.
