The representatives of tourist guides in a meeting held with the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, have revealed some of the reasons why tourists are more attracted to Tirana. They said that the capital is the most preferred by groups of tourists who choose to visit our country.

"As far as the city is concerned, mobility, in the framework of the movement of tourist groups, since we live it ourselves, Tirana is much easier. Moving with groups from "Mother Teresa" Square, to "Skënderbej" Square, or to "Zogu I" Boulevard is very pleasant, both the walk, the facade, the lines, and the safety against cars. It is a pleasure for us to present our capital, the face of our state, in the eyes of visitors from all over the world, who are coming more and more from all nationalities now", said the president of the Association of Tour Operators and Tourist Agencies, Ardiola Alikaj .

"This year has been very successful, I believe for all of you, since the arrival of tourists from different nationalities, new markets and Tirana always open as a tourist destination to develop both sustainable and adventure tourism. The destinations that we develop are mainly within the surroundings of Tirana, somewhere around 20 km, in 9 villages. We have around 130 tourist destinations, which are 14-18 km by bike. We have also promoted local guides in every village we go to, such as in Shëngjergj, Baldushk, other villages around Tirana," said Ergys Vladi.
