In an interview for the April cover of Vogue, model and actress Cara Delevingne revealed that she entered a 12-step rehab program after paparazzi photos last year slapped her. She explained that her behavior was related to the effect of the pandemic and the celebrations of her 30th birthday last August.

" I hadn't slept. I wasn't well," she told the magazine. It's horrible because I thought I was having fun, but I really wasn't. Those pictures were something I should be grateful for ."

But just as Delevingne was celebrating her birthday with her wide circle of Alice in Wonderland-themed friends, her world came crashing down.

She explains her behavior and 'strange' photos

" I always knew that things would have to be different after my 30s because the way I was living was not sustainable," she said . "I said to myself, 'I have to have such a good time. I have all my friends here. I have to enjoy this.'

Then he continued : "I needed a change. I was welcoming this new time. That party was like a funeral for my former life, a farewell. And so I decided to go celebrate as much as I could because this was the end."

After the published photos where she looked in serious condition Delevingne, I ask for help to open a new page in her life.

" I just needed support," she said. My old friends that I've known since I was 13 all came and we started crying. They looked at me and said, "You deserve a chance to be happy ."

She entered a rehab center where she found additional support thanks to a 12-step program.
