This castle in northern Italy is for sale for $2 million
Have you ever dreamed of owning your own secret castle in a beautiful region of Italy, wandering along its fortified walls like a monarch watching over their kingdom?
This dream can now become a reality.
The medieval castle and village of Serravalle, between the two cities of Modena and Bologna in Italy's northern Emilia Romagna region, is for sale for 1.9 million euros, or about $2 million.
It requires only minimal adjustments and the price is debatable.
Set in green hills, the castle comes with a part of the village, which bears the same name and was once part of its manor.
The property includes the magnificent castle built on the ruins of pagan settlements, a magnificent three-level 18th-century palace called Palazzo Boccadiferro, where the current owners live from time to time, a forest hunting lodge, a four-story observation tower, a walkway stunning panoramic and a park of 14,000 square meters.
