A week dedicated to Albanian and international tourism

The Ministry of Tourism and Environment in cooperation with the World Tourism Organization organizes on April 3-5 the FESTA Forum - The Future of Sustainable and Environmental Tourism in Albania.

This event dedicated to sustainable tourism will gather in Tirana more than 300 participants from 40 countries around the world.

The Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, evaluated this organization as a special commitment of the Albanian government to be oriented towards sustainable, responsible and environmentally friendly tourism.

"The coming week starts with a very big event for tourism. The whole week will be of tourism, not only Albanian, but also international. We open it with the largest international forum dedicated to tourism. In Albania, where all international media, all tour operators, where all businesses, private and public sector find the small country with a special model: that of responsible tourism, tourism that respects the environment. This is the Albania we love and for this, throughout the coming week, from the Palace of Congresses to "Expocity", between the very important panels and between the fair, we welcome you all, because we have a fantastic tourist season ahead of us", said the minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro in an official statement about the event.

During the three days of the forum, 70 speakers divided into 7 thematic panels will discuss important topics related to sustainable tourism and its future trends, such as the role of governments, development strategies, branding, professions and profiles of news of this sector. For all those who are part of the tourism and travel industry, April 3, 4 and 5 will be an opportunity to listen to experts in the field, to create business connections and partnerships, to share experiences and to familiar with the offers of the tourism market.
