Today is Slow Day, so get laid

Monday, May 8. Today is 'Slow Down Day'. A completely new concept. Slowness can work better than speed.

However, slowness has remained outside the focus of our society: consumption. The number of goods produced is increasing, along with that of greenhouse emissions. The number of human beings increases. Purchases per capita are increasing. The impact on the planet increases. Only Covid stopped this escalation for a short while and we certainly can't hope it will happen again. Is it possible for us to find a way to increase our well-being by reducing the consumption of energy, water and matter?

However, speed is not always a problem, sometimes it can become an ally. The acceleration of information technology, of the digital world, Barbero adds, can also help the ecological transition.
