"I'm glad that the church has doubled as a space. We, as a municipality, have only done our duty, because I believe that the most difficult part is not the physical construction, but the spiritual construction for the community. I wish you a blessed Easter! Thank you very much for welcoming me into your bosom. Perhaps, more than ever, we need the reminder of Easter, that life overcomes death, that love overcomes hatred, that unity overcomes division. The Catholic community is probably one of the communities most persecuted by the communist regime, and the fact that today, not only in your words, Father Zef, but also in the words of the community, there is no hatred, no grudge, no anger, on the contrary very humble, not forgetting the past, but looking to the future and moving forward, I believe we serve everyone better.

The mayor added that a good city has space for everyone. "What a coincidence that, in the Month of Ramadan, we have both the Catholic Easter, the Protestant Easter, and the Orthodox Easter, as if to give us a message that a good city has space for everyone. A good city is not a monopoly of anyone, there is space for beliefs, there is space for ages, there is space for origins from all corners of Albania, but also the world", said the head of the Municipality.

Father Zefi thanked the Mayor for the support given to the Church and the Catholic faithful. "I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done, because you have done a lot. I thank you very much for your willingness and everything you have done for our community," he said.
