The secret to a long and happy life is toasts and parties, said a great-great-grandmother after turning 108 years old.
Mary Ann Clifton, who is known as Rosina, gave the advice during her birthday party in Orpington, south east London.
"Work hard, but party more - hard work won't hurt you," she said.
Ms Clifton was born on 16 March 1915 in Lambeth, south London, and after leaving school she followed her passion for fashion, working as a designer.
She met her late husband Ernie at school when they were just 12 years old. The couple had two children, and Rosina now has four grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
