"Protection of businesses in the digital age"/ One Albania holds the Cyber Security Conference
The development of technology and the rapid spread of the Internet has transformed the way we communicate, work and play, increasing access to information and supporting business growth. In a digital world that is progressively permeating every area of our daily lives, security is a necessity for users, businesses and the country's economy. To address the dynamic landscape of cyber threats, telecommunications leader One Albania held a cyber security conference this Tuesday. The conference served as a platform for open dialogue on cyber risks and the need for strong security measures in various sectors.
In the opening speech, the executive director of One Albania, Brano Djurovic, emphasized the importance of cyber security for businesses and consumers.
“In today's digital age, cyber security is not just a technical issue; it is a fundamental aspect of our economy and society. At One Albania, we ensure that our networks are protected and that our customers are informed and protected from cyber threats. Moreover, we are the first TELCO company that guarantees the security of other companies' systems through the services we offer", said Djurovic.
The conference brought together industry leaders, regulatory bodies and key stakeholders to discuss the importance of cyber security in an increasingly digital world. Divided into two panels, the experts first examined security in the financial sectors, and then the discussion turned to improving the protection of businesses and empowering them with knowledge to guarantee their customers' data.
The director of the National Authority for Cyber Security Igli Tafa and the member of the supervisory board of the Bank of Albania emphasized that cyber security has become a national priority.
"In March of this year, Albania and the National Cyber Security Authority updated the new cyber security law, which already gives more power to the implementation of cyber security in all operators and in all sectors", said Tafa, director of National Cyber Security Authority.
"The Bank of Albania has always been at the forefront of initiatives, either for the digitization of the financial system, or for the creation of the protection of this digitization. Two years ago we approved the auto-identification and open banking regulation," said Deniz Deralla, member of the Supervisory Board at the Bank of Albania.
Among other things, this conference also served to reaffirm the role of One Albania, not only as a responsible company that recognizes the need for increased cyber security measures, but also as a provider of services aimed at preserving sensitive data and guaranteeing security for businesses.
As a company that focuses on digital transformation and promoting a secure environment, One Albania is at the forefront of technological advancements, offering a wide range of services: EPP, EDR, virtual PBX service, SIP, Hosted and Cloud services, etc. . One Albania will continue to invest in advanced technology and efficient solutions, ensuring that its customers, as well as the wider community, can enjoy the benefits of the online world without compromising their online security.
