NASA captured stunning images of a solar tornado, about 14 times the size of Earth, 74,500 miles high, moving at a speed of 310,000 miles per hour.

Astrophotographer Apollo Lasky stated that the solar cyclone moved for three consecutive days at the North Pole of the Sun, releasing a large amount of gas into space.

"I have never seen anything like this in all my years of looking at the sun. This is amazing," said Lasky.
