Should I use beach makeup?

Should I use beach makeup?

Nowadays, where the appearance on the beach takes on a special significance, there are many girls who use makeup and cosmetic products during this period - liquid foundations, powder, blusher, eyeshadow, eye tones, perfume, etc. But all of these products, when exposed to the sun, can be dangerous to the skin, including some waterproof products. The latter can contain substances such as silicone, wax, polymers, etc., which can cause blockage of pores, skin irritation and have a high tendency to cause allergies. If you definitely want to use "waterproof" products on the beach, check that they do not contain the above ingredients or choose "water resistant" products.

As for the perfume, its application on the neck and décolleté and sun exposure can cause spots (hyperpigmentation) exactly in the form as you sprayed it on the skin. If you can't resist without applying it to areas that are less exposed, such as the back of the neck and the base of the hair.

Regarding the foundation, without which many girls complain that they can not even go out the door, it is best to avoid it on the beach. The main reason is the fact that it clogs the pores and aerates the skin, which in conditions of high temperatures, heat and sweating worsens even without its application. Likewise, after sweating and entering the water, you run the risk of being shown as a wax statue melting. On the other hand, applying foundation will limit the application of sunscreen to the right frequency (every 2 hours, after sweating and immersion in water) making the skin more exposed to ultraviolet radiation and consequently to stain and damage collagen fibers (photoplaque). If you definitely need to use a color unifying product and cover for cutaneous irregularities, choose compact (creamy) powders with protective filters (spf 50), BB cream or colored sunscreen (tinted cream) and avoid products in powder form.

However, you should keep in mind that if you are exposed to the sun for many hours, especially in beach areas and want to use foundations, you will need to clean your face more often and refresh your makeup. If you are so determined and tireless to do so, everything will go well, otherwise you will sooner or later complain of spots, acne, enlarged pores and you will need to call a dermatologist!
