How to care for your face in quarantine
During the period of social distancing and stay at home, the negative role of environmental pollutants
and make-up on the skin has been replaced by the use of masks, disinfectants and vapors
various detergents (without forgetting the added stress), which often do not cause skin irritation.
The use of masks especially on persons who are forced to wear them for many hours, no
can only cause mechanical irritation (from contact), but also causes sweating and moisture
created a favorable microenvironment for the growth of pathogenic microbes as well as the inhibition of
breath-taking at the cellular level of the skin. As a result, the skin may become red and irritated
there is an increase in black, white and acne spots around the mouth, nose and chin.
So despite staying home, you still take care of your face skin in a fashion
regular by cleansing, nourishing and hydrating, and even protecting against radiation
ultraviolet (indoor lighting, tv, computer and mobile) through the application of cream with spf.
So, despite not going out, wash your face regularly with the detergent you usually use, at
breakfast and dinner. If your skin is red and irritated replace the detergent
previous with a detergent for sensitive or irritated skin. Likewise if they have appeared
acne or black spots, look for a detergent with exfoliating and anti-acne properties.
Immediately after cleansing, apply a serum to your skin. This is because the serum contains in
high concentration small molecules of active substances which penetrate deep into the skin. And on
depending on the serum content the elimination of toxins from the skin improves (antioxidant serums usually with vitamin content (A, C, E), nourished and deeply nourished (hydrating serums with hyaluronic acid content), black and white spots are reduced (exfoliating serums) , with salicylic acid content), light wrinkles are reduced (anti-aging serums), cutaneous hyperpigmentation (anti-aging serums) are reduced.
Because of the benefits of this product, regardless of brand and type (to be carefully selected
and depending on skin type), if you haven't applied the serum before, now you have all the time
possible to do. Apply it in the morning and at dinner and after it is absorbed, apply
moisturizing cream on face without forgetting neck and décolleté.
If the skin presents with redness and irritation as I mentioned earlier, replace the moisturizing cream of
previous with moisturizing sensitive lines and complex anti-inflammatory contents. whether
skin condition worsens, seek the advice of a dermatologist.
And since you have enough time (for those who do), don't forget to apply masks 1-2 times
per week. I would advise you to be careful with their choice and not to
especially experiment with masks created with food products, and masks you haven't tried before, as they can cause irritation and allergic reactions on the face. In these weeks
Quarantine, there are many cases of consultations that are presented in the clinic for this problem.
If you really want to try a new mask, apply it on a small surface first
skin and after seeing the reaction and making sure it does not cause burns and irritation, you can apply
all over the skin.
