Everything you need to know about the Barbie phone, including the price

It's been talked about a lot and it's finally on the market: "Barbie Phone", born in the wake of the huge success of Sofia Coppola's movie "Barbie", is a new phone. It was created by the collaboration between Mattel and HMD Global, the company that once created Nokian.

The device represents a fusion between the nostalgia of the iconic Barbie toy accessory and the growing demand for simple, distraction-free multi-functional phones known as "feature phones".

With a design strongly reminiscent of the classic Barbie style, in shades of hot pink, the phone is a re-imagined version of the Nokia 2660. Although it is not a smartphone, it offers basic features such as calls, messages and a camera .

The device aims to be bought not only by Barbie fans, but also by those looking for a "digital detox".

The device has a 2.8-inch TFT display, numeric keypad, 1 GHz processor, 64 MB of RAM and 120 MB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSD. It includes a camera with LED flash, removable 1450 mAh battery and 4G connectivity.

The new phone is on sale at the price of €129.99, a figure above the average compared to similar phones.
