WhatsApp created dissatisfaction among users recently, after some changes made to the application. The tech giant capitalized on its "Online" and "Typing" labels.
But it then quickly retracted the edit after facing heavy criticism on social media.
New features also included green icons within the search function, a green cursor, green notifications and green correction.
One user expressed his anger by writing: “WhatsApp. I'm on my knees praying - turn details blue. It's too green for me."
Reacting to user comments, a spokesperson from WhatsApp said: "This was just a small test, but it is now back to normal."
