For users of some devices, WhatsApp will no longer be functional. However, the web version of the application remains usable.
An alternative is to back up your data and switch to a new, updated phone that supports the latest versions.
WhatsApp will also stop working in May 2025 for some slightly newer Apple models, including the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus.
