Whatsapp innovation makes group calling easier
WhatsApp introduced some new features last week, including the ability to mute people during group calls. This feature seems useful to remove the voice of people who forget to do it themselves.
While some conferencing apps, like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, allow hosts to mute all participants (or one individual), they usually do not provide a way for individual users to mute anyone they want during a call.
WhatsApp is also launching a new feature, which will notify you when someone is joining a call after it has already started.
