Breast cancer test with AI and no radiation gives results in 10 minutes

An innovative breast cancer test powered by artificial intelligence has the potential to detect disease at an early stage and promises to deliver results within 10 minutes. Above all, it does not expose you to mammography radiation.

Currently in the clinical trial phase, Ailis is functional as an imaging method that measures thermal changes in the breast, tissue and areas around it.

It may offer an alternative method of breast screening. This method is portable, which means it offers wider access to tests and a more comfortable visiting experience.

Developed by a team of innovators in Poland, it is hoped the test will encourage more women to get screened, as it avoids breast compression and squeezing (which occurs during mammography) and also eases anxiety.

"Our vision is a world in which breast cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease," says Michat Matuszewski, co-creator of Ailis.

"By introducing this state-of-the-art device to the market, we are creating a new paradigm for both breast examinations and, more importantly, immediate results."
