Mark Zuckerberg has announced that it will soon be possible to use two WhatsApp accounts on the same phone.
This feature is useful for people who need to switch between accounts, for example from work to personal, and who don't have to log out every time, carry two phones or worry about sending a message from the "wrong account" .
Each account will have its own privacy and notification settings, so you can choose to receive notifications from one and not the other.
As Meta explains, to create a second account, the user will need a second phone number and another SIM card or a phone that supports multiple SIMs or eSIMs, i.e. digital cards.
